For offset providers
For conservation organizations, land trusts, First Nations and landowners. Development proponents seeking habitat outcomes may be able to fund restoration you are planning or already doing. COR helps the two sides find each other, on your terms.
Tell us privately what you could deliver
A short form: habitat types, regions, rough capacity and timing. Only the COR team sees it. Nothing is published, and we ask before sharing your details with anyone.

Some proponents list their needs on the map, with a general area and a quantity range. If you could help, tell us and we will consider an introduction.

Put an offset project on the registry, either publicly or confidentially so only COR and verified parties see the details. Every listing is reviewed first.

What it means for you
- Restoration funding from development proponents, alongside the grants and conservation finance you may already use.
- You decide what to share and with whom. Introductions only happen with both parties' consent.
- COR does not hold funds or take part in any agreement. You deal with the proponent directly, and regulators decide whether any offset satisfies a requirement.
An honest note on offsetting
Offsetting has real critics, and their concerns are fair: whether a project adds habitat that would not have existed anyway, whether results are monitored, and whether outcomes last for the long term. We think these questions should shape any project you take on. Our FAQ covers the evidence and the critiques in plain language.
